As a young man I was a dreamer with visions of what I wanted to do in life, how I could make the world a better place, and how it would all unfold. As I dreamed I had grand visions of the places I would go, the type of work I would do, where I would live and on and on. However in none of those dreams did I see myself as the "insecticide king”.

My name is Richard Rowe and when I day-dreamed, most of them had to do with cars, for which I have a passion. NEVER did insecticide play into my plans for the future, but several years ago I was introduced to the line of Perma¬Guard products. My first reaction was less than enthusiastic, but my curiosity was peaked to understand how a product formulated with only organic materials could be so effective in killing insects. It was amazing to watch it work; in fact, it still amazes to me. But now I know how it works, and along the way I "caught the vision" of what has motivated Wally Tharp and his friend and partner Merv Haney to continue offering these products and to hold on through some very substantial challenges in testing, licensing, and marketing over the years. I won't go into detail, but I believe it is fair to say that Mr. Tharp and Mr. Haney are on a mission to help rid the world of the need to use dangerous chemicals and replace them with a product that is more effective, that is friendly to our environment, and that will not have adverse effect on future generations.

As I said, I caught sight of their vision and for several years I have, on a small scale, marketed the PermaGuard products.
The process of marketing the "old conventional" way has at times been discouraging-knowing what a great and needed product I have to offer and not being able to get the information to the "massed" in a timely and economical way.

So with the encouragement of my wife and family I have gone into the "unknown"(for me), the Internet; to market these products which I feel will truly make a difference in the world. I believe that PermaGuard products, by design, are the best products available today to safely control and eliminate insect pests.

P.S. These products have passed the "Mother-In-Law Test". My mother-in-law and her sister, to whom I believe I have little or no credibility, have both used the products and have asked me for more because they had run out and liked the results they got. Now that says something for the product, and I believe it got me a few points with "the sisters”.
